Whitaker Falls - Lower Cascade

Just outside Martinsburg, New York, is a municipal camp ground and park next to Roaring Brook. From the east end of the campground, a trail leads to the riverbank beyond the park boundary maybe 500 yards to a place where we found a blue rope to assist our descent into the gorge. Wlking back upstream, we found the lower falls, a pretty little cascade about 12 feet high.
